Nature Walk




There is a beautiful park adjacent to our hotel. We have taken many walks through it. We just couldn't wait to take Emma for her first nature walk. Chris wanted to take pictures of the flowers. Emma enjoyed watching her Daddy take pictures. Don't you just love how she is watching him. She like to smell the flowers and walk on the grass.

We are doing some shopping this morning. Once we have Emma's passport we will be leaving for the airport. Wish us luck! We will be posting from Guangzhou tomorrow.

    The close up of Emma is the best one yet. Maybe Daddy is finally getting the hang of the camera.Just Kidding! She looks so content and happy. We are sure enjoy the blog and Elissa enjoyed them today. She can hardly wait to see Emma and Jacob together.

    Love the pictures!!!! It's between periods - Wild and Red Wings are tied at 1-1 so thought I'd check the blog and what a surprise. It looks like you guys are having so much fun and Emma is remarkable!!!! Grandma has decided to move to the assisted living apartment so she can have a bigger place for Emma to come and visit... she wanted to know if she could move in before you three came home!!! so thanks Emma for being the influence on getting great-grandma to move.... We are so looking forward to seeing the three of you and all the pictures and your stories of this great adventure! Keep having fun .... Love Aunt Shari Kay

    Looks like things are going great. I hope that no other major meltdowns have occured. Good luck on the airplane! And who can pick just one pic? Too hard with such a precious girl.
    But look at all you will have to choose from to crop the rest of her book with.

    I can picture Chris and Emma waiting patiently together for the partridge or a deer to come out of hiding to get the perfect picture!!! Hi today from all of us in Ely - Grandma loves the daily updates. Her moving day will be February 23rd, we will move the furniture into the apartment on the 22nd when Billy is home from Bemidji.     The pictures are wonderful and heartwarming -- it's so easy to fall in love with those big brown eyes. Your updates are the highlight of my day, while my guys tell me I have a simple life. Have a safe flight, read books or sing some songs for Emma to pass the time.
