Going on Vacation

Well, Emma still loves her swimsuit. She wants to wear it to bed and now during the day! I have deliberately had it in the wash for a few days and finally gave in to her today.

She put on her swimsuit, flip flops and sunglasses and told me she was going on vacation!! Can you tell she is ready for summer? I asked her where she was going. Her reply "the beach". She got on her Elliot and went into the piano room. What a place for a vacation!

Emma received an Ariel doll. I was dressing it for her and she asked about the outfit. It was the mermaid outfit. I explained to her that Ariel is a mermaid and swims in the ocean. She was confused so I finally told her it was her swimming suit. Well, Emma decided she needed her swimming suit on too. Her suit if a Disney Princess suit that has Cinderella, Ariel and Belle on it. She insisted she put it on herself. Last night when I was checking on her before going to bed, I noticed that her jammie shirt was on the floor. Hmmmmmm............ Well, Emma had taken off her Cinderella dress, jammie shirt and jammie pants and put on her swimsuit!! Of course I had Chris come look, took pictures and tucked her in. This morning she came out of her room all smiley and I said "Emma, you have your swimming suit on!" She says, "Yes Mom!" and proceeds to throw her arms up and says "Ta da!!!" Then she tells me she put her swimming suit on all by herself!

Emma is still loving Cinderella. She has to sleep in her Cinderella dress, with her "tappin shoes" on and now takes her wand with her!

Today Chris looked at me, smiled and said one word - "Disney!"

She is also loving to snuggle with her snail. I found her taking a nap on it.

Swimming

I am a little behind on posting...............
A few weeks ago with enjoyed a weekend with Auntie Jess, Uncle Ry, Meenah & Eryn. We watched Eryn's basketball game and enjoyed some time at a hotel so the girls could go swimming. Auntie Jess and I decided on buying her a swim vest. It was perfect. Emma loved swimming and was able to "swim" on her own a little. She really enjoyed wearing the girls' goggles. She was swallowing some water so we would tell her to try not to, it was cute she would cover her mouth instead of closing it.
She was said to leave them. On the way home she asked "Where did Meenah & Eryn go?"

Friends - A Special Bond

Our friends all got together. We are bummed that we don't live closer so our girls could see each other. We have a special bond with all of them and miss them. We are glad they are able to get together, they had just spent the day at the Children's Museum in Boston.
