New Set of Wheels

Emma received this car from her friends. She was so excited to drive it. What are we going to do when she is 16? She took it for a spin in between raindrops.

We told her that she had a gas tank to fill. She opened the cap and went to get the watering can. Chris and I stood shocked. We can't believe how much she watches us and knows what is going on around her. It was very cute to watch. She even made sounds as she poured her "gas".

Daddy has mowed the lawn a couple of times. She likes to watch him. She climbed onto the mower herself and "drove" it. Of course, puppy was along for the "ride".

Yum!

Emma and Grandma Nonie were helping me make the cheesecake for Mother's Day. Emma thought it was great she got to lick the beaters and sit on the counter! She loves to help with everything - laundry, baking, making the bed, dishes.

Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day! We are so blessed to have our daughter. She is a wonderful gift of life. After church, we bbq'd and had banana cream cheesecake. It was a Cheesecake Factory recipe and was great! Emma gave me a cute Precious Moments figurine - "You Have A Special Spot in My Heart". It is a little girl as a lady bug. I also got a certificate to scrapbook at my favorite store.

Sunglasses

She loves these glasses. She wore them for an entire day and took them with her during her nap! Every girl needs a pair of sunglasses with pink lenses!

ECFE

Emma enjoys her ECFE class (Early Childhood Family Education). At the class the child has time to do crafts or play with different toys. She really likes to paint. Then there is circle time with songs and stories and "Quackie the duck". The child then has a snack and plays in the gym, while the parents have time with a parent educator. When I returned to work, Chris took her to the class. We both took her this past week, so we could enjoy the time together. This week she loved playing in the sand. She did want to cut and glue. Daddy had to finish the craft. He did a great job.

Kyle and Emma - Kyle showed Emma fun new stuff.
She was trying to copy him at the rehearsal and reception

Sam and his mommy

Emma sat with Shannon the entire time the bride and groom opened gifts.
She drank her juice and blew bubbles in the cup!

The Wedding

Emma didn't attend the wedding ceremony. We felt it was best she stayed home and napped. Thank you Auntie Carol for staying with her. Emma loved the reception. She loved all the attention, wearing her pretty dress and headband, watching and following the bride and groom, seeing family and the cupcakes.

My cousin and her daughters - gorgeous!
