Doctor Appointment

Last Friday, Emma had a doctor appointment at the International Clinic at the U of MN. We are very fortunate to have this facility/resource within our reach.
The appointment went very well. She now weighs 20 lbs 4 oz, is 31 1/4 inches tall. She was seen by an occupational therapist. Emma showed her all her tricks and played quite well with her, always looking to mom or dad to make sure it was ok. The therapist said she was at and above her 19 month level in all areas!!! We were thrilled to hear this, since she was behind in her fine motor skills when we first came home. The therapist was impressed with her gross motor skills - Emma loves to jump and climb! The doctor was very happy with Emma's attachment to us. She reminded us to keep working on iattachment so it is cemented even more with Emma. We had a nice time in the Cities - shopped, saw friends, were at the U of MN, fun!

Another update: Emma did her first somersault yesterday. Grandma Winone helped her. She thought it was great. She even did one by herself last night!

  3. Andrea and Chris: If Emma is at or above the 19 month level in fine motor skills, that means she is right on track to play the Clarinet Polka when she is in high school.
Emma: Short girls are the cutest, and everyone knows that.

    Audrey
