Chinese New Year
Gung Hay Fat Choy!
We celebrated the New Year and Grandma Nonie's birthday by going to our local Chinese restaurant. Emma enjoyed her hamburger, fries and wontons. I knew that she would be the one in the family eating "American food" at the Chinese restaurant!
Helping Grandma open her birthday present.
Laskiainen
What a wonderful day at Laskiainen. The weather was perfect. I was too warm! Emma loved sliding! She didn't like waiting in line. She had no fear of the slides her comment was they were fun and bumpy. We saw family and many friends.
Emma enjoying the sliding with her Daddy. It was the first time I have ever gone down the hill by myself. I felt bad, everyone else had someone to go with.

Emma thinking she is going to pull Daddy up the hill. Luckily, Emily was there to help!

Having Fun!
Enjoying a picnic for supper in our living room.
Emma wanted to watch "Cinderella". I was in the kitchen and she came to me to tell me that she needed a dress like Cinderella's. I told her to look in her closet. She had found her fairy costume. I said, are you sure you want to wear that or would you like to wear this dress (Cinderella play dress-up dress). She was speechless! She wore it all night!

Family Day
We enjoyed celebrating our family day. We looked at pictures from our trip and watched some videos. We gave Emma two special gifts - a Chinese silk dress(she is wearing it in the picture) and a sweatshirt from Hong Kong Disneyland. Emma loved looking at the pictures and having a special treat, ice cream. It is hard to believe we have been a family for 2 years. Time goes by too fast. We thank everyone for their love and support. We feel it every day!
